Ephesians 4:25-5:2

In light of the recent discussions in our country of spiritual revival, we learn that we should be experiencing a much more common experience in Christ:  spiritual renewal. Pastor Mark explains that “spiritual renewal” is the process of being changed into the likeness of Jesus Christ.  In this passage in Ephesians, we see 3 broad categories/areas to be transformed:  Transformed Mouths (choosing truth over falsehood, and choosing to build up rather than tear down), Transformed Moods (anger unchecked will always lead to sin), and Transformed Motives (no longer trying to reap the rewards without paying the price).  When we pray for revival, it has to start with us!
