Philippians 2:19-30–This section of Scripture focuses on models of humility and other characteristics that were on display in Paul’s co-laborers Timothy and Epaphroditus.
Ephesians 4:7-16–God has provided the means to attain unity and maturity in the church through gifts of ministry offices in the church. Through the exercise of these gifts, the church builds itself up in love, grows to spiritual maturity, and achieves unity in diversity.
1 Corinthians 14 Every believer has been given spiritual gifts by God. In this passage Paul says we should “try to excel in gifts that build up the church.” So when we come together as a body, let’s come looking for ways to share our gifts with others.
Romans 12:3-8; 1 Corinthians 12:1-30 “Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.” Since this verse is true, we each need to actively discover how to best use the gifts God has given us in order to serve and bless Christ’s body, which is the church.
