Malachi 1:6-2:9 After reassuring God’s people of His great, unfailing love for them, the prophet begins to address God’s grievances against them. “You are dishonoring Me in the corrupt sacrifices you bring to the altar.” Instead, God desires that we repent and offer ourselves as “living sacrifices” to Him.
Lamentations 3:19-66 In the midst of despair, Jeremiah remembers God’s faithfulness. He instructs the people how to get back to the place where their prayers can be heard by God and they can hear God’s voice once again.
