[Sermon for Palm Sunday, April 5] John 20:19-29–An examination of the reasons for doubt–which can be right, or wrong reasons. Thomas exemplified both the right and the wrong reasons for doubting. This message examines the basic nature of doubt, and the nature of saving faith.

1 John 2:18-27–In this passage, John inserts another “test” to determine if we are truly His. The test question is: Who is Jesus? Better get this one right. A wrong answer has dire consequences.
Isaiah 60:1-3; 61:1-3 At a time when the nation of Israel was in deep darkness, the prophet Isaiah foretold the day when the light would come and the glory of the Lord would rise. Christmas is a celebration of the fulfillment of that promise in Jesus.
