THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOD

Exodus 3:11-15

One of the most important things we could ever ponder is what God is like, His character and attributes.  In this sermon, Pastor Mark contrasts two competing perspectives:  the human point of view, and the divine point of view.  We learn that we make judgements based on our experiences and personal knowledge, but we are called to respond in faith.  In this passage, God reveals Himself to Moses as “I AM”, which speaks to how He is self-existing and unchanging.  If we look through the eyes of faith, we are able to see a faithful and almighty God in the midst of life’s difficulties.
