Neighborhood City Church...
Building a Culture that Reflects Christ in our Ethnically Diverse World...
Because of the growing ethnic diversity within the city of La Crosse, Wisconsin, Pastor Chris Crye saw a great need for an empowered, multi-cultural Christian community. Realizing the significant impact of having a place of worship where people with diverse ethnic backgrounds could develop community using godly Christian principles, Neighborhood City Church was formed in 2001.

Originating in the Hood Park neighborhood, the church began as a home fellowship and later occupied a storefront in the Washburn neighborhood. For six years NCC held Sunday services at Lincoln Middle School, all the while searching for the place that would become our permanent home. Our prayers were answered with the provision of our facility at 7th & Ferry.

Neighborhood City Church is a church plant of Bethany Evangelical Free Church of La Crosse, where Pastor Crye was previously on staff for 14 years. NCC is a member of the Forest Lakes District of the Evangelical Free Churches of America.
