Part 1–Psalm 18:1-29–Is the Lord God your rock or do you see Him as your lap dog? In this psalm, David addresses the mighty, powerful, good God. He hears our cries and He acts on our behalf.
Psalm 17–David is able to pray boldly because #1 he is confident that he is living the Lord’s way; #2 he knows that is request is appropriate; and #3 he knows that God is faithful. Are you able to pray boldly?
Luke 18–“When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” This collection of parables and encounters all have one thing in common–They are all about faith. There are examples of faith in action, but also descriptions of things that might block or hinder our faith.
Psalm 16–Good things come from our Lord. This psalm reflects on some of those good things: saints to fellowship with, significance in life, divine counsel, and of course, eternal life. Let’s be thankful!
Psalm 15–“Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill?” This psalm offers us the opportunity to exam ourselves to see if we meet the criteria to walk with God.
