1 John 2:12-17–John takes some time in his letter to remind his readers–no matter what level of spiritual maturity they are in–that they are part of the family of Christ.
1 John 2:3-11–In this passage, the apostle John indicates there are two questions we can ask ourselves in order to test if we really know God. 1) Do I obey His commands? 2) Do I love my brothers and sisters? Where do you stand?
1 John 1:5-2:2–This passage deals with 3 claims that we can make that don’t measure with the reality of our lives. This is sin. Yet, God has a remedy for our sin if we confess it.
1 John 1:1-4–In this introduction to the Book of First John we learn that Jesus Christ is the foundation for our fellowship. We can be witnesses (as John was) with the authority of personal experience.
