Facing Our Harsh Realities

Lamentations 1:1-3; Jeremiah 29:1-23

During the next several weeks of Black History month we will be focusing on a series we’re calling “Voices of Lament”. Lament is defined as the language of suffering and in this opening passage of the Book of Lamentations, the writer takes a harsh but realistic look at the condition of the nation of Judah.
